Reiki and how it works
Peace, happiness, and healing are all achievable states of being. How does one achieve these states when it seems like everything and everyone around us are at odds with these things, and it feels like the world itself is crumbling down? You have to go within! I know it sounds a bit “woo-woo,” but it is so true. To get out of anything unwanted (anxiety, depression, bad situations, physical or mental pain, and ailments), going within allows you to hear and feel God, a higher being, and even yourself—your true self in its purest form.
When you are in your higher self, you get an opportunity to quiet your mind and feel genuine peace, happiness, and relaxation—it is total bliss. This state promotes natural healing. As a Reiki Master, Empowerment Pusher, and Spiritual and Strategic Guidance Assistant, I am a firm believer in a holistic approach to healing. Reiki, the healing touch, is a positive universal life force energy, also known as Chi, Prana, or Ki. Reiki helps improve one's health (mentally and physically), thus improving one’s quality of life.
The human body comprises the mind, body, and spirit. When these three are in alignment and working order, a free flow of energy is achieved, promoting healing wherever it is needed. I am here as a facilitator for the energy; I act as a conduit through which higher vibrational energy flows and is transferred to you using our seven main energy pathways, known as Chakras. These Chakras are spinning wheels of energy located along the spine. They correspond to major nerve centers in our bodies, connecting to particular emotions and physical organs and glands.
Our bodies have an inherent and innate wisdom, and when our Chakras become disrupted or blocked due to stress, toxins, trauma, fears, and other unfavorable influences, the body sends signals that often result in or lead to illness, disease, and imbalances. Through my practice and the power of intention, I work to release any blocked energy and promote the flow of energy and well-being on a mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual level for all my clients. I will hold a safe space to help you with stress, anxiety, and other ailments while restoring more peace and harmony into your life.

My Reiki journey began over three years ago, during a time of profound grief after the sudden death of my oldest child, Karl, who was 35. Not knowing anything about Reiki, I found myself continually encountering the term in unexpected places. It felt as if the universe was nudging me toward Reiki, a gentle but persistent call that I couldn’t ignore.
Three years prior to my son’s passing, I had the honor of being at my mom’s bedside as she took her final breaths. That is when I began meditating and opening up spiritually, so exploring Reiki after my son’s death seemed like the next natural step. They say you don’t find Reiki; Reiki finds you. This was exactly my experience. After my first session, I was convinced of Reiki’s incredible healing power and knew I needed to learn it to help heal my family, friends, and business associates.
I have since completed two Reiki programs and have been attuned twice in all three levels of Reiki. While I am a Reiki Master Level 3, I prefer the title Reiki Practitioner. I am passionate about connecting with others who understand and appreciate this spiritual path, often misunderstood or labeled as “woo-woo.”
When my personal Reiki practitioner was about to go on maternity leave, I had a remarkable experience during my last session with her. I realized and verbalized—almost shouted—that I was no longer in grief! It’s an amazing feeling when everything aligns in perfect timing.
As your Reiki practitioner, my role is to guide you through your healing journey until you feel empowered and realize, “I’ve got this!” While there's nothing wrong with returning for a session every now and again for a boost of energy and relaxation, my ultimate goal is to help you become self-sufficient in your healing journey.
